Accounting

The Accounting Department educates students to manage, thrive, and lead in positions where an understanding of financial and operating information are important. We educate undergraduate and graduate students who plan to take the certified public accountant (CPA) examination, as well as MBA students who need to understand the how to consume financial reports or Liberal Arts undergraduates enrolled in basic or advanced accounting courses. Our objective is to prepare students at every level to excel by focusing on the fundamentals of informed and ethical decision-making in the accounting profession. Accessibility to expert faculty teaching in addition to our collaborative environment is a crucial element of the success of students who take our courses.
